The 4th Round of the World Cup has started. There are less and less chess players in the Chess Academy, but the emotions are increasing.

«Where do I take you?» — I was asked by the taxi driver when I got into a car. «Take me to the mammoths!» — I said. I can imagine the look of the taxi driver in Moscow if he was given such an address!

The Grandmasters David Navara and Alexander Moiseenko were awarded with the prize «Fair Play», established by the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova.

The Cuban Grandmaster Lenier Dominguez started his 4th round with a victory over Judit Polgar. At the press conference he told us how important it is to have friends’ support during the tournament.

Grandmasters David Navara (Czech Republic) and Alexander Moiseenko (Ukraine) received the Fair Play Prize today, provided by Natalia Komarova, Governor of Ugra.

The first games of the Round 4 of the World Cup were played on September 6 in Khanty-Mansiysk. It was a very uncompromising day — six games out of eight were decisive! White won four times, Black scored two wins.

Every following game of the World Cup reminds the action movie. The passions are rising, the nerves are taut and the air is shuddered with the sound of chess players’ feet twanging under the tables.
