— Judit, you managed to eliminate the rating favorite of the World Cup. Are you happy now?

- Of course, I think I was playing well today. Sergey had a task to win back. Being under some psychological pressure, he became nervous at some point and our game was drawn.

— Were you worried when playing against such a strong opponent?

- I think it is not an accident that Karjakin is a rating favorite of the tournament; he is an expert in many openings. When playing the second game I chose an opening to surprise my opponent. At the same time I was trying to be ready for everything that might happen at the chess board.
— Are you planning to celebrate this small victory?

- No, It is enough for me that I am just happy after today’s game.

— Your family stayed at home. Do you feel lonely far from your family?

- Of course I miss my husband and children. But my husband and I came to a decision that he stays home. My son started his school and my daughter goes to the kinder garden. I am easy in my mind when I know that my children are taken care by my husband.

— How are you going to spend tomorrow’s rest day apart from getting ready to the round?

- I would like to recover, to calm down after the tense match, and maybe walk around the park. I like nature here and the weather is fantastic these days. That is why I will enjoy the beauty of the city and getting in the mood for the next match.
