The Czech chess player David Navara won the second game vs the American Grandmaster Alexander Onischuk and secured a place in the 3rd Round where he will face the winner Moiseenko-Inarkiev match.

At the press conference David said that he did not take a lot of beautiful clothes with him to Khanty Mansiysk.

— David, today’s game was very short. How did you manage to play so quickly and successfully finish your match against such a strong opponent? — I got some pressure in the Spanish game and then created some weakness for the Black. After that my opponent decided to sacrifice a piece but without any exchange. It seemed that Alexander mixed the move order or miscalculated in the opening.

— You are dressed well today. Does it mean that you had a feeling of a victory? — I did not have any presentiments. I just always try to look good during the chess games. Outside I am dressed horrible. I don’t know what I will do if I qualify till the 4th or 5th rounds. I will run out of beautiful clothes (smiling).

— You will have a rest day, you may go shopping! — Yes, we have a rest day but I am planning to spend time by getting seriously prepared to my next opponent.
